Profile

Jan Steenbock is a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. He started working in engineering at MTU Maintenance Hannover before he moved into Sales and Customer Support in 2000. As Deputy Director Marketing & Sales China, he was responsible for markets in China, Hong Kong and Macau. He was also involved in the setup of the MTU Maintenance Zhuhai (China), a joint venture between China Southern Airlines and MTU Aero Engines.

In 2008, Jan became VP Customer Services. Since 2011, he has been VP Marketing & Sales Far East Asia and part of the centralized marketing and sales organization which oversees all activities of MTU Maintenance worldwide.
