Gert Wagner began his career in aviation in 1999 at Lufthansa Technik Aero in Alzey, Germany. In 2005, he joined MTU Maintenance and first held several positions within purchasing and logistics at the group’s sites in Berlin-Brandenburg and Hannover. From 2013, he became Director Engine Programs for the V2500, PW2000, and later on the PW1100G-JM. In 2021, he moved to China as Director Operations Support, and in 2022, he took on the role of President & CEO of MTU Maintenance Zhuhai.
Gert graduated from Bingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz.
