Julien started his aviation career within Airbus, Toulouse, France as an Avionics technician on the assembly line. Julien has participated in the assembly of the first A380 for major carrier such as Singapore Airlines, Emirates or Qantas. Moving to Australia in 2010, Julien has switched his expertise from assembly to operation and held multiple positions within the Engineering team at Virgin Australia, Tigerair and more recently Jetstar.
With a strong background in operation and technical support, he has developed cost effective protocols to enhance aircraft utilisation, reduce maintenance cost and optimised safety and reliability. Julien is engaged with major OEM and MRO to continuously improve aircraft operation and deliver excellent technical management solution to operators.
Julien currently focuses on digital solution to enable engineering & maintenance team to make agile and swift decision on their assets to reduce process waste. He believes that successful airlines post covid crisis will be airlines able to leverage benefit from the big data revolution.
Julien holds a diploma in Avionics, a master degree in Aviation Management (Griffith University) and Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) accreditation from Civil Aviation Safety Authority (Australia).
