Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation (Ameco) is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa, with 75% shareholding by Air China and 25% shareholding by Lufthansa. Headquartered in Beijing, New Ameco consists of a Beijing Base and others branches dotted in Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Hohhot, Shanghai, Guiyang, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Wenzhou.
Ameco holds wide range of business scope covering line maintenance, aircraft overhaul and painting, engine overhaul, component overhaul, landing gear overhaul, business jet services, engineering, training and GSE calibration. It is authorized by CAAC to act as a DMDOR. Currently, it possesses maintenance licenses from almost 30 countries or regions, including CAAC, FAA and EASA.
