Profile

Leading the Engineering team of his country’s flag carrier, Philippine Airlines, Romulo Raras, Jr. or much widely known in Philippine Aviation Industry as “Jun Raras”, has been in the world of aviation particularly on airlines and MRO for the last 16 years. He has worked on various disciplines of aircraft maintenance and engineering, starting as a maintenance apprentice and continuously grew his expertise to continuing airworthiness, technical services, engineering finance, and different management roles.

Prior to joining Philippine Airlines, he served at the airline’s subsidiary (PAL Express) as their Head of Engineering for 4 years.

Jun is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and holds local Philippine CAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician licenses with ratings on both Airframe and Powerplant.
