Vikram Reddy is the general manager of engineering team in India for GE Aviation. The team comprises about 700 talented engineers who provide engineering design, analysis and software solutions for jet engines, components and integrated systems for commercial aircraft, in collaboration with the global GE Aviation engineering team.
Vikram joined GE Aviation team in 1999 and held leadership roles with increasing responsibilities since then. He personally worked and supervised teams in development of successful products like GEnx, LEAPx and GE9x. Vikram spent considerable years in leading Advanced technologies group at Bangalore and developing next generation product strategy for GE Aviation. Vikram received GE Aviation CEO award for Empowering & Inspiring leadership in 2017. He led several successful projects with premier universities and national labs in India for collaborative research & development.
Vikram received his Bachelor’s degree from GPREC, Kurnool and his Master’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
