Profile

As the Manager Maintenance Operations for Qantas Maintenance Operations Centre, David currently leads a highly skilled Qantas team supporting aircraft recovery operations worldwide. This centre monitors more than 400 flights per day, providing inflight assistance to Flight and Cabin crew and support for ground technicians and is engineering’s first point of contact for operational disruptions. The background knowledge obtained over 28 years in the Aviation sector, from starting out as an Aircraft Technician with exposure to Base, Line, and Maintenance Watch areas, included Project Management roles for A330 and A380 introduction. David is also the focal point for enablement tools to increase inflight capabilities of Aircraft Health Monitoring.
