Leonardo Amorim is the Global head of Services Sales and Business Development for Embraer Services organization covering Commercial Aviation. He is responsible to define strategies to deliver customized solutions to Customers. The scope of offerings ranges from Material services to technical solutions, aircraft enhancements, digital and analytics, MRO, consultancy and Training to commercial customers worldwide.
Before that, Leonardo served as Director of Services Operation for EMEA. In that role, was responsible for services sales, contracts negotiation and administration and the actual delivery of material services to the customers in the region. Was instrumental to the transfer of EMEA HQ from Paris to Amsterdam, leading the new organization to meet customer expectations while delivering on corporate goals of revenue generation and operational efficiency.
From 2011 to 2015 was Director of Services and Support for APAC. From Singapore lead the local team to serve the customers of the region on all aspects of aftersales relationship. Was accountable for customer satisfaction and P&L.
From 2007 to 2011 served as Director of Technical Support Engineering for the China market. Based in Beijing, brought the engineering management closer to the customers, buy creating and leading a local engineering team.
After joining Embraer in 2001 as Technical Support Engineer, has hold leadership position within the technical support organization such as leader of the propulsion team and manager of all technical support teams for the ERJ-145.
Leonardo holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlandia a Masters of Aeronautical Engineering from the ITA and a MBA from FUNDACE/USP Ribeirao Preto.
