Eke Nazri Rahim was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airlines in June 2022 and currently a member of the Board of Directors of Pan Pacific Aviation Service Ltd, Hong Kong (PAPAS) since May 2018, Technical Committee for Association of Asia Pacific Airlines since 2019 and Technical Group Committee for Oneworld Alliance “The Engineering & Maintenance Best Practices Group (E&M BPG)” to develop industry’s best practices and jointly address relevant industry issues. Prior to this, he was the Head Airlines Engineering of Malaysia Airlines, a role he held since October 2017.
Eke has a proven track record for enhancing efficiency, implementing continuous cost saving initiatives and compliance controls, as well as increasing quality standards at Engineering outfits he has served for the past 30 years. Addition to his capabilities, he attended personal professional training which involves leadership programme, airlines operation and business courses.
Eke graduated with Master of Business Administration and also holds a Malaysian CAA and CAA UK Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License.
