Michael (Mike) Doellefeld serves as the Vice President of Boeing Global Services Commercial Programs. Named to that position in March 2020, Mike is responsible for overall execution, delivery, profit and loss of Engineering Fleet Management Services, Aircraft Leasing Transitions, Boeing Freighter Conversion Programs and supporting Joint Ventures.
Prior to this role, Mike served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Boeing Asia Pacific Aviation Services (BAPAS) Private Limited- a Singapore based joint venture company between The Boeing Company and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC); Director of Boeing Global Services (BGS) Fleet Care Programs; Chief Engineer 777 Systems within Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA); Director of BCA Engineering & Regulatory Affairs for Boeing Government Operations in Washington DC; and deep leadership experience exceeding 30 years across all Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787 Airplane Programs.
Mike holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Washington and completed an Executive Masters of Business Administration program at University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. With a passion for technology and applied learning’s, Mike earned accredited certification as a Volkswagen/Porsche/Audi automotive mechanic while in high school and continued in that field of work throughout his university studies. That applied work experience has been foundational to his strength in applied leadership, influence and accomplishments within Boeing’s Commercial, Government and Global Services business units.
