Profile

Ryan Lee is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heron Technology and has over 30 years of work experience in the defence, aerospace and construction sectors.

Ryan has spearheaded various initiatives and projects in Singapore related to the development of UAS traffic management system (UTM) solutions. Most significantly, he worked with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) from 2018 to 2021 to research and develop a prototype UTM system as part of Singapore’s roadmap to be a future Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) hub. He is a member of the Association of Aerospace Industries of Singapore UAS Industry Group, and of the International Co-ordinating Council of Aerospace Industry Associations CNS/ATM Committee.
