Tan Shih Shiuan oversees the Engine Leasing business of Aviation Asset Management for
ST Engineering. He also serves as Co-Managing Director of TEAM, a joint venture between
ST Engineering and Marubeni Corporation that provides solutions in mid- to long-term narrowbody aircraft engine leasing.

Shih Shiuan has extensive 30 years of aviation experience and international marketing network with airlines and the leasing community. In his current roles, he leads and oversees market and product strategies, lessee risk management, engine investments decisions, asset value optimisation and preservation, leasing operations, and portfolio growth.

Shih Shiuan was also instrumental in the successful launch of Sunbird Engine Lease Finance Limited in 2020 – the first securitisation of aircraft engine receivables by an Asian headquartered lessor.
