Ashok Gopinath is the President and Accountable Manager of GMR Aero Technic. He joined in June 2017 and has been responsible for Strategy, development and growth of its MRO business segment within the GMR group. He is an Aviation industry veteran with over 28 years of Airlines experience covering various aspect of Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance, International Operations and Regulatory compliance. During his professional voyage in Airlines Engineering and Maintenance, he has served leading airlines including Jet Airways and SpiceJet as part of its senior management team. He is a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualified on various narrow and wide-body aircraft. During his tenure he diversified into new capability build-up, market expansion, and successfully turnaround the company in to a profitable business, largest independent MRO in India and also supporting the operators in the region.Sessions
