Michael started his career in aviation more than 40 years ago is head of MJH Aviation an aviation consultancy firm providing specialized expertise to the MRO, airline and leasing community and has worked with a number of organizations across the globe. He is currently working as Group COO for Vietjet who operate a fleet of 75 A320/321 CEO’s and NEO’s and 7 A330’s and 18 A320 aircraft in the Thai Vietjet fleet. He previously worked with Ryanair for 30 years where he rose through the ranks from the position of Mechanic to COO. A licensed engineer who also holds a private pilots license, an MSc in Air Safety Management from City University in London and is chairman of the Irish Historic Flight foundation, a not for profit organization which restores and flies vintage aircraft.
