As an expression of those core beliefs, he has become a recognized expert in the field of customer support, he has developed a rich and comprehensive engineering background, and he now focuses his attention back on MRO activities.
Whether leading a team of airline MRO liaison engineers in Montreal, ensuring support for an A380 C check here in Singapore, or running a repair station in Suzhou, MRO has always been a central theme throughout his professional career.
As the General Manager of Safran Nacelles Services Suzhou Co., Ltd, Troy’s crowning achievement was nurturing this new MRO from an initial concept through to delivery of its first unit in 2023. He now oversees an ambitious growth phase for newest MRO division in the Safran Nacelles MRO network; based in Suzhou China it boasts over 5,000 m2 of shop floor and employs highly trained staff specializing in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Safran Nacelles products from Asia Pacific.
He is a respected member of the international aviation community, having worked with dozens of airlines on six continents. He has carefully curated a network of colleagues, mentors, friends, and advisors who range from CEOs to working technicians; coming from the OEMs, Airlines, Lessors, Authorities, and of course, MROs.
With over 25 years of experience in Aviation, he also enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with the next generation of young aspiring professionals who are eager to embark in this exciting field.
